You can learn pottery at Bandicoot Pottery from local ceramists with over 40 years of experience.  

Bandicoot Pottery is nurturing creativity and igniting imaginations of children, young people and adults! Our studio is where ideas flourish, talents thrive, and the limits of ceramics are endless... Our mission is to shape clay locally and create a vibrant creative clay community. 

 

Bandicoot Pottery has experience working with people of varying abilities: no matter their skill level, we find the opportunity to use clay to express yourself is always a positive experience.  Our pottery workshops teach you how to stay creative and engaged in the ceramic arts throughout your life - at any age and at any stage!

Buy Direct or Online

Buying pottery directly from our Showroom can be much more of an adventure than buying from a shop. Our studio is open by appointment and we welcome you to visit if you want to buy something special from us.

 

You can browse our handmade art portfolio and view our latest creations in our online store. Our pottery is hand crafted and individually designed specialising in functional decorative works and one-off wood fired pieces.​

Kids Clay Club

Unleash your child's creativity with our fun classes during the school holidays January, April and September. 

 

Suitable for school aged children 7-14 years old. Parents are welcome to enrol and join their child in the workshop. Classes are 2 x 1.5 hours. One class to make then work drys and one class to finish and paint.

Redeem Active & Creative Kids Vouchers with us! We are happy the new program has streamlined redeeming vouchers! All I need is a copy of the voucher with bar code emailed to claim it through Services NSW. Please make contact. Any remaining amount owing on classes will be invoiced after booking.

For a cool $50, snag one of the limited 6 memberships spots. This will entitle you to 10 drop in pottery sessions over 6 months at a sweet $20 discount per session.

Calling all returning students! Swing by for a drop-in session to mould your own masterpiece project at your own pace - it's a pottery drop-in session.

As a member, enjoy a discount and everything is included. But wait, here's the kicker: this isn't a pottery class! We're talking experienced ceramic skills required to use our pottery studio paradise.

For just $60 a session, dive into 2 hours of pure pottery joy!

Day & Night Classes

Weekend Workshops

We cover a range of ceramic skills and process with plenty of time to get into the clay - hand building, slab construction, mould work, pinch pots, coil building and wheel work.  ​

Experience the whole process and leave with a few handmade pieces and a glimpse into the world of clay.

​Designed for people who want to develop their ceramic skills further.

- Day and night classes run for 4 to 6 weeks​.

- Weekend workshops are 2 sessions: one making and one finishing.​

- Pottery Adventures is a 2 hour making only session. We finish and glaze your work for an additional charge plus pick up or postage.

 

Limited to 6 students in a group with 2 teachers!!

Daniel and Gabrielle teach together so that's double the pottery skills and knowledge.​

Create Your Own Group

 

We are happy for you to create your own group for families, parents, siblings, children or a team building party! We require a minimum of 4 people. 

 

Workshops are 2 x 2 hours for adults and 2 x 1.5 hours for children. Special groups by prior arrangement.
